i like life-changing things. i like paradoxes. i like modest people. i like limitations. i like the sunrise/sunset. i like clothes that smell like sunscreen. i like the smell of chlorine on my skin and hair. i like bad jokes. i like personal stories. i like old movies/tv with bad audio. i like surrealism. i like metaphors. i like theories. i like coffee. i like libraries. i like that i work in a library. i like small talk. i like music. i like writing. i like making lists of things i like. i like that i'm alive. i like swimming. i like jogging. i like bike rides. i like comics. i like tv. i like being smiled at by random people. i like being told to take care. i like being told to have a good one. i like saying you too. i like music (battles, grizzly bear, ratatat, electric president, two gallants, butthole surfers, the flaming lips). i like movies (waking life, clerks, blue velvet, reservoir dogs, jaws, beetlejuice). i like comics (lock and key, the walking dead, preacher). i like watching the price is right in the morning. i like breakfast. i like weight-lifting. i like swimming. i like reading (nicholson baker, joe hill, a lot of autobiographies/memoirs). i like flying in planes. i like long days on a boat in the middle of the lake. i like my sister. i like my two brothers. i like my two dogs. i like my mom. i like my dad. i like the rare interesting conversations i have with my parents. i like that my sister is pretty. i like that my mom still looks and acts young. i like that my dad is hard-working. i like that people encourage me to keep pushing.

i don't like people who dress up to go to the gym. i don't like people who wear sunglasses inside. i don't like people who start conversations without ending it. i don't like people who smile too much, makes me suspicious. i don't like people who like american idol. i don't like people who like one kind of music. i don't like people who are rigidly in routine. i dislike it more when they assume everyone will adapt to this. i dislike when two cars are driving side by side at the same speed so i can't pass. i dislike things i can't do anything about. i hate doing something wrong. i hate being caught doing something wrong.
